Artist's Statement
I am a self-taught artist who has lived in California, Georgia and now in Louisiana. As a young woman, I found art as an outlet that allowed me to express myself through my creativity. As I have grown older, I found creating art was a way to relax and escape my hectic and stressful life. Art to me is a way to find focus, balance and relaxation throughout the creative process. I gravitate towards hands-on art and found my favorite medium to be bright and vibrant acrylic paints mixed with a glass backdrop. The only limits of my artwork are by my own imagination.
